A few hilarious and terrible branding mistakes

Branding is an incredibly lucrative business and companies sometimes spend millions to ensure that their products are launched abroad in the most effective way. This is no easy feat. Marketing teams must be aware of the language, local culture and the implications of the brand’s positioning overseas and tailor their campaigns accordingly. Here are 4 of my favourite examples of when this went catastrophically wrong:
